Born in Richmond, Kentucky and raised in Chattanooga, Ron has played bass guitar for many bands in the Southeast, beginning in 1967. He joined The Collins Brothers in 2000, bringing his vast experience, steady groove and "Whatever It Takes" attitude. Ron's influences include Abraham Laboriel, Rocco Prestia (Tower of Power), Chuck Rainey (Steely Dan), and Tiran Porter (The Doobie Brothers).
